Terms of Service

Tyende is a ride-sharing platform connecting riders and drivers across Africa. By creating an account, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

To use Tyende you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Hold a valid driver's license (drivers only)
• Maintain a vehicle that meets Tyende's safety standards (drivers only)

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Notify us immediately at support@tyende.com if you suspect unauthorized access. Tyende reserves the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

• Riders agree to pay the fare displayed at the time of booking
• Drivers on the commission model agree to a 15% platform fee per completed trip
• Drivers on the Tyende Pro subscription agree to the applicable monthly fee
• Payouts to drivers are processed weekly to the registered payment account
• All fares are subject to applicable government taxes

Both riders and drivers maintain a public rating. Tyende reserves the right to suspend or remove accounts that consistently receive low ratings, engage in harassment, or violate community standards.

Users may not:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
• Harass, threaten, or discriminate against other users
• Manipulate the platform's pricing or matching systems
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent suspensions

Tyende provides a technology platform connecting independent drivers and riders. We are not responsible for the actions of drivers or riders beyond our platform. In no event shall Tyende's liability exceed the amount paid for the trip in question.

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll notify you via the app or email before significant changes take effect. Continued use of Tyende after changes constitutes acceptance.
